0-10v dimming

    Can you please help, How many ballasts can you get on one 0-10v dimming unit

    It depends on the ballasts, in particular how much current they draw from the 0-10V control input.

    The 5504AMP can source 2.5mA per channel, so if your ballasts draw, say 0.25mA, then you could have 10 per channel.

    The short answer is that it all depends upon your ballasts.

    As can be seen on the Specifications page of the Installation Instructions for the unit, it can source 2.5mA per channel and it can sink 8mA per channel (at 10V, worst case).

    What that means is, for example, if your 0-10V ballasts source 0.5mA, then you can connect 16 of them to a channel. If your ballasts source 1mA, then you can connect 8 of them per channel.
