    Hi all,

I don't know if it is related to 1.5.2 but I have been having some difficulty with my network. Since downloading I have been getting about one "unraveling" required per scan where it moves one unit to the end of the list. It sometimes says it can only get serial numbers for one item. The biggest thought for me is that I cannot update one of my DLTs. Every time I go to update I get error 20037 network error. If I save to database I can go to the unit and retrieve the data OK so the comms are working and other units seem to update correctly. WHen I tried to reset the unit a nasty failure message appearred that I have emailed to Clipsal.

    Does anyone have any suggestion???

    Thanks
    Glen

I usually find that "weird" networking issues is caused by not having a burden enabled.
Other problems are usually sorted by shutting down toolkit and C-Gate and restarting.

The first thing to look at when these type of problems present is "comms"
Start with the basics. Voltage, burden number of units, connections etc, then run "diagnostic" and get an idea of the health of the comms. It will most probably be basic and most probably comms. Remember a C-Bus network with marginal comms will often work at the basic level (key input to output unit etc) however toolkit with C-Gate under the hood pushes things much harder and this is when dodgey comms / network issues are illustrated. Start with the basics and go from there ;)
