Hi I know scenes have been covered before but after reading posts I still don?t seem to be getting the result I am looking for

I have a BW touch Screen

I have made a scene called ?Kitchen all on? with 5 components set to 100%
The application in scene editor is set to trigger control and I have set the group address to Kitchen on with the action selector 2 I then put a button called ?All ON? on the piced page with the controlled item set to scene groups. When this button is pressed the simulation puts the lights to 100% and then off on the second press As expected

My Problem is when I make a second scene called ?cooking? with the same 5 components but with different levels and group address called ?Cooking? and action selector 1. when I added this to a button in the piced project and use it all that happens is the lights go from 0% to 100% the same as the other button and the other button turns on and off with it.

In scene editor when I select set scene they go to their correct levels.

Am I doing something wrong or is what I am trying to do not possible.

Hopefully I can as I am also going to make other scenes to control the same components

    Thanks for any help.

Your problem is that you are using the button to control the groups in the scene rather than actually triggering the scene. When you control the scene groups, you are just using the scene as a set of groups and you are ignoring the scene group levels.

    You need three scenes:
?Kitchen all on? with 5 components set to 100%
?cooking? with the same 5 components but with different levels
?Kitchen all off? with 5 components set to 0%

These scenes should all be on the same trigger group, using different action selectors. Create three buttons to trigger the three scenes (either directly setting the scene, or indirectly via the trigger group).

If you really want to do this with just 2 buttons, it can be done, but it is more complex.

I have that set up and working on the touch screen but my next issue is how I get the wiser to use these scenes. Do I need to recreate them on the wiser?

    Thanks

The Scenes do not need to be in Wiser. You just need Widgets in Wiser to control the trigger group.
