5100pc

    Just a quick question: is there any big difference between 5100PC and 5500PC (apart from their burden)? I know there may be a lot of firmware differences but basically I want to know if there is anything major. For example, in an old site with 5100PC, will I have any problem with the latest software? Will I not be able to access some new models via 5100PC? etc etc..

    No problems my end

    I have recently worked on an installation that was done in 1995 which includes a mixture of old and new units and cat3 and cat5 bus cabling. There are two networks both with 5100PC's installed. I have had no troubles installing more recent units, including in the past 18 months, a touch screen (B&W), 12 channel relay unit, and replacing of existing key switches.
