5504aux inputs

    I am planning to use the 5504 aux to monitor 4 inputs (all voltage free relays) however at the moment I only have a 6 core cable in place... I dont have the aux unit here yet but anyone know if any of the terminals are common or if they can be linked? No idea how the aux detects the remote open\close contact but must be either supplying a voltage or grounding a pin?
