    Hi,

I need to be able to make a sensor turn on a circuit at 50% between 8am and 10pm but the same sensor to turn the same circuit on at 10% from 10pm to 8am.

I'm guessing this needs to be done in logic and there is a Wiser 2 on the job however I've done very little in logic and would massively appreciate any help

    Thanks
    Mike

You don't need to write any logic to do this. Just use the logic in the output unit. Set the sensor up as normal and put it's group address in the output unit. Makes sure it all works as a simple sensor. Then create a new ga called say Sensor Level, and on the output logic tab enter that ga and set the logic to Max. This ga will now control the maximum level. Now you just need 2 schedules to set that ga to 50% at 8am and 10% at 10pm.

Are you sure - the logic takes that maximum of the two groups assigned.

So if the GA sensor Level is set to 10% and no motion is detected (lets say for GA bedroom) then GA bedroom is 0%, Sensor Level is 10% and the channel will be on at 10%.

As soon as motion is detected the GA Bedroom will ramp to either the assigned value in the Blocks tab of the motion sensor (recall 1 or 2) or 100% and as soon as it is > 10% (or the level of the Sensor Level) the output will ramp to that - basically whichever is the greatest.

Reading some more - You need to set the logic to Min, not Max
