I plan on installing a 5753PEIRL into my ensuite so the lights only come on when ambient light falls below a certain level. My question is that if the sensor switches on these lights, is this ?Light? going to then trick the sensor into turning off because the ambient light has increased? Should this sensor be teamed up with a dimmer channel instead so the lights ramp up as ambient light decreases?

    Cheers

No, the sensor won't be tricked into turning off.

The default behaviour for the unit is to turn the load On if it detects movement and the ambient light level is low. This starts a timer to turn the load off. If any movement is detected before the timer expires then the timer interval becomes reset back to the maximum.

Excellent, I forgot about the timers involvement in the unit... Thanks for the prompt response.
