This unit store the output selection in the wrong slots in the xml and in v2.
Slots 1 6 and 7 are not used - this is a problem when producing printouts as the outputs show up in the wrong place.
The configuration interface has been hacked as it shows them in the correct slots.

they should go from 1f to 25

    Hi Dave,

Actually, what you see is correct. Whilst it is an 8 channel unit.. it's a derivative of the 12-channel unit and it uses a subset of the 12 channel unit groups. Certain "group slots" namely, 1, 6, 7, and 12 are not used.. so everything gets shufffled around a bit.. The mapping becomes:

    12CH 8 CHN
    1 : Not Used
    2 : 1
    3 : 2
    4 : 3
    5 : 4
    6 : Not Used
    7 : Not Used
    8 : 5
    9 : 6
    10 : 7
    11 : 8
    12 : Not Used

I can see that this poses problems for people wanting to transform the XML into other formats.. Sorry about that. :(

The issue isn't in the software, it's the way the firmware in the unit works. The unit would need changing, it's not a simple software change.
