Could someone who has already upgraded please list the common improvement's an end user will see, when upgrading to "humpback".

I've got a Wiser, PACU, Power meter CMU with 4x clips and Solar, 2 thermostat's and an iphone app

Are we talking a web browser interface into PICED?
Some new Tstat and temp widgets?
Better (and support for more) power meters?
An iphone app that stops crashing when switching to the HVAC screen?
More than 6 camera images along the Wiser GUI?
Camera images that actually load up into the iphone app?
    A better WISER GUI?
    Anything else?

In particular what changes will improve the overall end user experience?

    I live in hope :)

    Thanks :)

Humpback was an internal working name for a build of C-Bus Toolkit. It is not an end-user piece of software. It's a free programming tool used for commissioning C-Bus systems in commercial and residential installations.

    Ok

Great. So that being the case, what benefits will end users notice within the recent co-ordinated firmware upgrades? What changes to PICED/the Wiser and the iphone app will we see? :)

    Just to clarify:

    Toolkit 1.12 was code-named "Humpback".

This is a major upgrade release, and it includes a significant number of new features which will aid installers.

    Toolkit is bundled with C-Gate.

As a consequence of the changes made, all other programs that use or interact with C-Gate also needed to be updated.

This is because changes were made in C-Gate, and those changes were "breaking changes" - which means that the communication method used to talk to C-Gate had to be changed (to suit Toolkit).

These kind of synchronised updates occur (now) very infrequently and are not undertaken lightly.

Any changes, updates, or improvements to programs which are NOT Toolkit are listed in the release notes. In general these are few, if any. The release notes give clarity.

To repeat: there will be few, if any, changes for an end user (building occupant) as the major changes are to Toolkit, for the aid of installers.
