alarm status

i need to create a page in piced that represents the front gate
i need a page with an alarm to pop up when the front gate is left open and when the front gate is closed again i need the page to disappear
i have the security system linked to the c bus and a active reed switch on the gate

can anyone please help

 

If its a Ness security system with a two way c-bus interface you simply need that reed switch turning on and off a group address which then turns on and off that page.

Otherwise you need either a bus coupler or AUX unit connected to your reed switch which will turn on and off the group address (when the gate is open and closed).
