In an earlier thread it was mentioned that in any wireless network each and every unit must be in range of all the others. I wondered if someone could clarify what happens if all units are in range of the wireless gateway but one switch is out of range of another switch (but there are no key interactions setup between these two specific switches ). In a long L shaped corridor for example the two extreme end switches might be out of range. Is there an easy way to check if this might be happening ?

Also .. I know the RF remotes use a different RF protocol and also more power . If you pair a switch with a key on a remote I assume the remote must be in range of that switch to work and not just any wireless switch ?
