    Hello

What are we suppose to put the Matrix Audio on to what application?

By the Training manual it is 205
    http://www2.clipsal.com/cis/__data/page/2857/14084_C-Bus_Basics_Training_Manual_Vol_1.pdf
    page 42

But the Toolkit only give 48-95, 112,113,114

Without changing the preferences to legency, then using 205
I understand that not every install will use this application because of old switches not having sec application

Suggestion is to have some tick boxes that allow the installers to select the applications that can be current properly, or can be assigned to equipment in the CBus range

Because my installation has 2 MRA with a third possible yet(I have all saturn sw)

Application 205 ($CD) is the application the matrix switcher and amplifiers use to communicate with each other, behind the scenes. You don't need to configure anything for this, and Toolkit will not allow you to configure any other devices to use this application as it's reserved for this purpose only.

It is good practice to separate application IDs by function as you are trying to do (which is great to see).. however because many old key units only support a single application (as you've noted), and they often also have to control lighting on the same keypad, the MRA system is designed to use a standard lighting application for these control functions. In most cases I suspect people just use the default lighting application (I do).

If you have new key units that support a secondary application, you can choose any lighting application and use it for MRA control.

We could nominate a specific application address for this in Toolkit, but no matter what we pick, someone is sure to have used it for something else (which is fair enough), and it would cause more confusion :(

    Hope this helps.
