Hi all, first time poster here.

I was after any info about what is the best software to use to have as a interface on my touch screen for which i am wanting to use when i install the C-Bus system through out my new house ( hopefully to be building in the next 3 months). I have been through Clipsals power house here in vic and was very impressed, am planning on doing the course soon. the main touch screen there was great but for the life of me i cant remember what software was on it.

I have a sahara touch screen, you can see it at http://www.tegatech.com.au/products/touch_screens/sahara_touch-it_i200_black.htm

and would be greatful for any suggestions on what might be the best software solution to control the C-bus. At this stage i will be running starserve and multi zone audio as well as all lighting on cbus.

I really light the look of the interface that advantage control use on theirs

    any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks

Seeing as that Sahara runs Windows, you can run Clipsal HomeGate on it.

HomeGate is what runs in the Clipsal Colour Touchscreen - so anything you can do on that screen you can do on yours. You will need to arrange the C-Bus connection, though, perhaps from the Sahara via wireless LAN to a hub/switch and then to a CNI.

    Digitalhomeware

Ive been using Digitalhomeware for years now and it just keeps getting better. Its simple to setup and I run a Sahara Tablet also at my house and works well. It has rs232 to integra amps nec plasma etc. plus if that simple to learn and test unlike circa nightmares im still suffering from. You can aslo view mp3 albums tracks, in built fox and fta tv guide, recording and control of media centre, interface with ness m1 security. you can tie rti remotes to trigger scenes in dhw.its my choice in control systems.
