Can this be programmed via C-Bus network ?? or only by USB. Looking at how to offer remote programming to my client. We have CNI installed to program CBUS network and was thinking could this be used to update the touchscreen

I can program mine via CNI - HOWEVER - it's horribly slow :(

USB update 2mins or so - CNI update 2+ hours.

Other option is to leave a commissioning PC onsite and use remote desktop.

Not sure a client will want the facia left off and the PC sat on a stool or similar to plug the cord into the screen?

I have this same dilemma, my only real option I have come with is to but in a USB-Ether server and do some dodgy wiring in the screen.

The only problem with this is that it voids the warranty....

It would be nice to have a rear USB port.

Or just increase the budget to the 6.4" Colour...

might not be that big of a difference with all the mucking around?

thanks for the scope, I have gone down the path of using a raspberry pi as an Ethernet to usb server at each touchscreen.
When I need to carry out any changes the client will just plug the unit in.

Works nice, because the client see's that I can only do changes when he plugs in the unit.
