Does anyone have any experience in the setup of using BACnet on the Automation Controller.

I am wanting to know how it is setup and if it can do what I am wanting.
I need to be able to turn off the AC in an office when the lights have been turned off for a period of time.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Setup of BACnet is covered in the Network Automation Controllers User Manual , you may also want to familiarize your self with general BACnet principles if you are not familiar with the uses and applications of BACnet.

The Network Automation Controller is a BACnet Server, if you need it to be a BACnet Client then for time being you can reach out to Schneider/Clipsal Project Services in Australia who may be able to support the addition of Client.

IN regards to what it can do
The 5500NAC and 5500NAC2 have the greatest number of BACnet Points Supported, while it is not physically limited the general recommendations 500 points for 5500NAC and 2000 Points for 5500NAC2.

With the latest firmware currently 1.15.0
All Object types on the Controller can be passed and are bidirectional over the BACnet

So that allows for all Lighting Applications, Trigger, Enable, and User Parameter Objects, thus Light State (being the level of a C-Bus Group address is no problem)

additionally Specialized applications are all so support such as C-Bus Measurment Application which will MAP to BACnet Measurement and provide not only values but also direct units conversion. This is good for reporting Temperature, Humidity , Energy etc from or to C-Bus

And Read only from C-Bus Units Application,

The C-Bus Error Application is also supported and allows for error acknowledgment etc.

The C-Bus Emergency and Exit Lighting Application is also supported and supports device reporting as well as activation of Test Events , Function and Duration, as well as inhibit and other functions.
