    Hi Guys,

Question for the UK market here:

Do you know if DIN Rail enclosures should now be metal instead of plastic, to comply with BS7671 (IET) 17th Edition Amendment 3? I've always used the SAIP enclosures manufactured by Schneider, such as the CT36NS.

Clearly the enclosure and control systems will be downstream of the main consumer unit, which is metal and amendment 3 compliment (protected by the requisite RCDs). However, I wondered if you are aware of how Amendment 3 may apply to the C-Bus control equipment and the housing of it ? it being possibly classified as switchgear and also possibly required to be housed in a fireproof/metal enclosure.

    Thanks!
