Just another quick one. On a c-touch when I trigger a scene from my scenes page I want the button to revert back to it's original state after the scene is run. I am achieving this but just want to confirm if the way that I am doing it is OK, or is their a better way. All my scenes are on Trigger apps, and I have an active and an inactive state for my button, on scenes that are not an on/off scene, I want the button to revert back to it's inactive state after the scene has been activated. Can I just trigger scene and then time the button for say 5 secs and then have the button turn off to revert back to it's original state, ready for the next time that scene may be run. This seems to work well. But i was wondering if there was a better way of doing this, or does the way I am doing it have any adverse affects on the network.

    Cheers Gav..

There are three ways of achieving what you want :
    1. Have the button pulse a trigger group for a few seconds. The group triggers the scene. The button shows the state of the trigger group. I think this is what you are doing now.
    2. Have the button set the trigger group to trigger the scene. The button shows the state of the trigger group. The last command in the scene resets the trigger group so that the button state goes off again.
    3. Have the button set the scene directly or via a trigger group. The button status is set to show when the button is being pressed.

Option 3 is probably the easiest and does not put any unnecessary commands onto C-Bus.

    thank you

Cheers Darren, you are right I am acheiving this with your first suggestion. I think I will change it for your third suggestion though as you are right the less uneccassary cbus traffic the better.

    Cheers again
