C-Bus and Savant Integration

    We are working on a project in Northern California and designed a full lighting control system using C-Bus. For audio, we want to use Savant and include some integration between the two systems.

    Savant uses RS-232 for integration with other systems.

    Has anyone done such an integration? If so, what are the hardware components required on the C-Bus side and what are the integration elements?

    If you use an intermediate gateway such as AMX or Crestron then you will achieve additional integration but if you want integration with the Clipsal touchscreens and DLT panels then there are several packages available.
