C-Bus future

c-bus is cheap thing made in China. ask any Europe or American competitor. hehe

About 20 new devices from HDL this year. Some hundred new devices from KNX partners. Alot of new from AMX. Huge from Control4. BTicino have made beautiful smarthome system. Legrand together introducing zigbee support and much more. Wireless everywhere. Ipad apps for everyone. Which new interesting products are added by Clipsal in 2012? Are they hidden?

in Australia - maybe. in Europe - KNX is huge and everywhere. ABB, Siemens, Gira, Jung, Berker, Somfy, Mitsubishi, Daikin, hundreds more - all KNX and agressively expand. Asia is under attack to. China companies start KNX production, developed by themselves (HDL and others). Tones of Z-Wave and Zigbee wireless products, cheap and very reliable. Don't know what to say more to make guys in Clipsal wake up.

I also do not want KNX. I wrote a doc to Schneider UK how C-Bus is better than KNX some time ago. When they decided whether to keep it or continue with Merten and TAC only. But now i hear "KNX-KNX-Control4-HDL" every day. And do not hear C-Bus.

I think someone should close the thread as it was only made to make people move out there and become a little more productive and creative. So that we, C-Bus guys, continue doing what we love to do in future. thank you.

This is a thread which you started and all it has done is bag CBus products and suggest that other brands have every problem sorted.
The whole time offering very little solution to anything.

 

Give him some free CBUS and dare him not to take it.
