I interfaced a CoolMaster 1000D to a Wiser with a serial to ethernet convertor. The code will be largely the same for a PACA. Because the CBus HVAC application has a bunch of read only variables, its not possible to use that application interface to the Coolmaster, so the code just uses Lighting App groups. There is one to indicate which AC zone is being controlled, and one for each of the AC functions (eg Fan Hi, Fan Lo, Heat, Cool, Dry, Auto) and the current Temp and Current Setpoint.

I've also got a BW CTouch interface that looks a bit like an Daikin wall controller (same graphics etc).

PM me if you would like a copy

    Hi Naresh,

Send me a PM (Private Mail) with your real email address and I'll send it to you. FYI it supports the PAC, CTC, BW CTouch with Logic and Wiser, so you'll need one of those to run it.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hey djaggar!

Same boat here! Can't send PMs... Got the Coolmaster working with CommandFusion for test purposes, nice, but really want to plug it into the C-Touch for scheduling, non-techies, etc...

Not sure if you can PM me?

Got djaggar's Coolmaster code working quickly and nicely on my BW CTouch with 5 x Daikin units.

Thanks again, I recommend this to anyone who has a Coolmaster compatible AC setup.

    Thanks
I didn't realise the video was set to private.
Try it again it should work now.

It's not a great video but it does show the interface DJaggar helped me to set up to talk to the Coolmaster and AC units.
The appearance of the Homegate interface is identical to the Colour Touch screen on site.
I'm still quite impressed with the responsiveness of RDP in this case since I was using an iPhone 3GS (looks faster than my iPhone 4) and the customer only had 3G internet.

There are 4 Daikin units on site.
2 ducted units and 2 splits.
3 of the units required an additional PCB to be installed for Daikin central control lines which connect to the Coolmaster.
The Daikin central control lines run around the home from memory in 1mm shielded cable and since they connect in a bus fashion I have cables waiting for an additional 3 splits if required.

At this house there is a dedicated PC onsite running Homegate.
The logic to talk to the CoolMaster is running on that.
The reason I chose to set it up that way was to allow easier remote work than if I had the logic running on the Colour Touch.
Also to allow some remote control access with Homegate since there is no Wiser on the site.

DJaggar was running his on Wiser.
I planned to try it on Colour Touch screen but haven't done so.
The new tenants have no requirement for remote access so I probably should ditch the PC and get it running on the Colour Touch.

DJaggar helped immensely with the programming but selecting components, installing interfaces, wiring and commissioning would have to be one of the most involved tasks I have ever done.
I certainly couldn't have done it without him.

It's been working well for the last 3 years.
The PC too and Homegate has run flawlessly unattended.

One 12V plug pack powering Coolmaster interface has failed during that time.
Oh and a PCB on the large ducted unit has failed just this week (I suspect vermin)
