    Good Afternoon all
Does anyone use this beast C-Bus Network Analyser #5100NA?

I have one and it it still very shiney and as new, as each time I've tried to use it, it dosen't help. I had it on some C-Bus equipment I was give to appraise and I set up a little network to test.
When I had the 5100NA attached toolkit scan would hang and not respond. I looked at the traffic in c-gate and it was continually re-trying to send information as something had failed. When I removed the 5100NA and forced toolkit to close and then restarted, it scanned like it should.
I am wondering if it is actually faulty from new:eek:

It also came with a red alligator clip cover on the black lead and the black alligator clip cover on the red lead......

    Anyone else's experience?

    Hello Matthew.

I had one years ago and found it to be highly inconsistent.
Best bet is get yourself an oscilloscope and have a play. Dontronics do one for around $300.00 (I'm onto my second one in six years) and I've got another on order from Adafruit.

PS: I don't work for either, just play with their toys...
