I have an installation that has 9 switches that fail to respond, if I disconnect power and reconnect the switches work fine for 24 hours then become non responsive again. If I turn on another switch which shares a switch with the one that failed the light comes on but the button wont work.
I have moved the switches to a different location and they fail in the new location so I thought it would be the switches but I sent one to Clipsal and I put one in my own house and they don't fail.
    Any Ideas

The symptoms you describe would have me looking at there being an issue with the cbus power supplys.. Probably not enough power, possibly a failed supply..

    Thanks
All but 1 of the switches are in the same area.
The other one that fails is at the other end of the house.
Is there an easy way to fault find a power supply

I did have low voltage at the place where most of the switches failed so I put in an extra power supply to fix the voltage problem but the switches still fail.

Can you be more specific is what you mean by fail? Flashing LEDs? Nothing?

This does not sound like a power supply issue to me. if you've checked the connections on all of the problematic products, then it may be a problem with the device that is upstream of the problem. I'm confused when you say you've moved the problem switches to alternative locations and they again fail (I'm assuming the switches fail in their new position?).

OK... What type of switches are we talking about? How old are they? Have you contacted Clipsal's tech support with this issue?
