    Thanks Max,

Windows 8.1 support for C-Bus Toolkit is great news.

Would you please advise what the status is for other C-Bus software, in terms of Windows 8.1 support, for PICED, MARPA, CIRCA, IR Reader, Ripple, Diagnostic, IP Utility, TICA etc?

    Hi Brendan,

Do you have any specific incidents you can report where those applications don't work on Windows 8.1 (when used with the latest C-Gate)? If so can you please report them in the relevant forums?

As with C-Bus Toolkit, we do depend heavily on field reports in order to build the case for doing a support release for those other applications.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

ive found that the drop-down boxes in unit configurations appears to be not touch-screen friendly - at least on my Microsoft Surface Pro

    Hi zei20t,

Thanks for that report. We'll add this and any other info to a ticket for touch-friendly support. Are the combos completely unusable or are they just hard to use?

    Display issues for Windows 8.1

    Hi,

Just a display issue that I'm encountering. My screen resolution needs to be set at 125% in order to be able to read the display and it seems the latest 1.13.0 version only displays correctly at 100%. Is this something that could be reviewed in the next update?

Hi Flebsta, what's your device (PC, laptop, tablet, etc) and what's your screen resolution in pixels?

    Hi Daniel,

It's an ASUS laptop UX31A, screen size 13.3" res is 1920x1080 running Windows 8.1.

Most of the Toolkit displays perfectly but say for example when I go to edit the details on an input switch to control a dimmer channel, the option tab for "toggle or memory" isn't visible at 125% magnification display setting. However if I set it to 100% it becomes visible. Problem is I need a magnifying glass to read my screen at 100%.

I had a similar problem with my accounting software and they were able to fix it and wanted to know whether you could do the same, otherwise it's back to the old CBUS-devoted Win-XP dinosaur laptop.
