    Hi all,
We are experiencing an issue where it appears C-Bus toolkit and the other apps associated (PICED etc) require to be a local administrator to run these apps.
    - I am not able to run it as a power user or anything lower
    - "Run as administrator" is not an option as I will need to put administrator credentials in
    - user /savecred switch is not an option
    - tried using 3rd party tools but am a bit "suspicious" on the encryption
    - have changed permissions on the Clipsal folders and files to "full control"
    - changed registry permissions to full control (where Clipsal entries are)
    - tried copying and pasting folders to new PC without installing or running service.

    - running windows 8.1 enterprise. tried v 1.14, 1.13, 1.12. tried different PCs.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

Yes you will need to run the programs with administrator privileges.

If you need to run with admin rights and cant, see if you can use virtualisation (VMWare PLayer is free).

Load up an instance of win7 (or whatever) and give your self admin rights and install and use toolkit there.
