C-Gate Dongles

    Can CIS please provide another C-Gate license solution other than the current parallel port dongles?

    Not all computers have parallel ports! Some new Dell machines don't even have serial or PS2 ports. I'm sure this will become more of a problem as these legacy interfaces are retired...

    Well if your computer doesn't have a parallel port it's kind of hard to get it to work :cool:

    And if you are able to add a parallel port there are compatibility issues to deal with.

    Well, we could solve the problem with a USB dongle dangler like this one :

    We have seen this trend over the last couple of years.

    A lot of dongles are now availabel as a USB dongle as a replacement to the old parallel dongle. It might be time to upgrade the dongle
