    I asked about the meaning of the following messages before.

    03/09/2009 14:22:49 :HomeGate is not responding.
    03/09/2009 14:22:49 :Attempting to Kill HomeGate
    03/09/2009 14:22:50 :Killed HomeGate successfully
    03/09/2009 14:22:50 :Attempting to start HomeGate
    03/09/2009 14:22:56 :Started HomeGate successfully

    The answer whose this is because the home gate server did not send the response to the C-Touch server was obtained.
    C-Gete Test(NOOP) of C-Gate Options had been checked when the configuration of C-Touch was checked yesterday.
    I think that it causes in the record of the message.
    However, I feel the situation in which HomeGate cannot return the response is not so good.
    Should I reduce some logic and WebCam components?

    Any suggestion is helpful for me.

    Thank you very much.

    Colour C-Touch does not use C-Gate so this option will do nothing.

    Apart from these messages in the log, what problems are you having? Is HomeGate (in colour C-Touch) restarting by itself?

    Hello Darren,

    Thank you very much for your quick reply.

    The C-Bus disconnecting icon is sometimes displayed on the left top of the window of Color C-Touch.
    Perhaps, because Color C-Tucoh doesn't obtain the response from HomeGate at this time, I think that I reactivate.
    It seems that a state that the working of the touch panel has stopped temporarily while reactivating HomeGate. The key seems not to be input even if touching at that time, and not to operate logic either.
    I want to know how to do to prevent this icon from going out.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello Darren,

    I confirmed the log data of Color C-Touch by the customer site today.
    First of all, I installed three Color C-Touch units with PICED4.7.2 in the same network. They are in BF, 1F, and 2F.
    There is no Logic for the unit of 2F. There is 900line program for the unit of 1F and BF respectively.
    It was only a unit of 1F that "HomeGate is not responding" was recorded. The log was not for the unit of BF and 2F.
    I found that command logging of the unit of 1F was enabled.
    Both of the unit of 2F and BF were disabled.

    Command logging might eat a lot of CPU power.
    Command logging is default and enable to the restart of Color C-Touch.
    Can i set the configuration to become disable when restarting?

    Thank you very much.

    This means that the C-Bus Module (which is the C-Bus interface used in the Colour C-Touch) has lost contact with C-Bus. This is usually due to:
    1. Excessive processor usage in HomeGate. This can be checked with the Show Usage option in the Colour C-Touch log. Also see the PICED FAQ help file topic Slow Operation.
    2. Communications problems on C-Bus. This can be checked using the C-Bus Diagnostic Utility.

    Hello Darren,

    Thank you very much for your great suggestion.

    I checked CPU Usage.
    CPU Usage of 1F unit certainly recorded 100%, and Screen Draw was recorded as 1753ms or less.
    The cause was investigated according to the following procedures.
    1. Stop logic 1F unit -> no change (Usage 100%)
    2. 4.7.2 firmware reinstall -> no change (Usage 100%)
    3. Exchange of configuration files between 1F unit and BF unit
    ->There is no change (1F unit Usage 100% and BF unit Usage standard value)
    I guess, this error depend on hardware trouble.
    4. 1F Color C-Touch restart -> (Usage 100%)
    5. Exchange of configuration files between 1F unit and 2F unit
    ->change (1F unit and 2F unit Usage were standard value)
    6. The configuration of 1F unit is returned to 1F configuration.
    ->(Usage standard value)

    Corruption of data might have been generated in Color C-Touch.

    Thank you very much.
