What do you mean by "use clipsal"? You question is probably easiest answered by saying that C-Lution is a standalone product and no other products made by CIS depend on it. So it is probably safe to say that you do not need C-Lution, it is an optional product.
Hi AngrY, I think my original response probably answered your question as I assumed you meant the C-Bus products. As we have lots of non English speakers on this forum, of which you may be one, I'll clear it up your statement above by saying. "Clipsal is the parent company who owns the compnay Clipsal Integrated Systems who manufactures C-Bus"
Angry, Are you trying to ask if you NEED to have the C-Lution software to be able to set up C-Bus equipment? WHen you ask if you need the software to "use Clipsal", what Clipsal product are you referring to? because Clipsal is the manufacturer of thousands of products, so it is hard for us to answer your question without knowing what product it is that you want to use. If you are trying to ask what software you need to use to set up a C-Bus network of devices, then the answer is that you do NOT need C-Lution, you can set up a network with no software if it is a simple network, or you can use a program called "Toolkit", which is a free download, to program your devices, as long as you have a C-Bus PC Interface. Also, what is your native language? and which country do you come from?
