C Touch poor touch response

    We have just installed a colour touch. Spent a long time programming layered tree menu with graphics etc.

    Unfortunately the end result is very dissapointing - touching the screen with fingers is problematic - probably the second third forth touch activates the command rarely the first and certainly never the first when you first go to it after a time.

    Have tried re-callibrating etc

    I think this screen needs to go back but wanted to get feedback first in case there is something in set up i am missing!

    It may be that the C-Touch is working too hard. A CPU load indicator can be placed on the screen to see the load on the CPU. You can also try loading in a very simple/basic project and check the responsiveness.

    Dodgy touch screen

    Nope - Tried all above and no different.


    I received a replacement and that works fine.
