You must ensure that the ports are forwarded at the site you wish to upload to. You will also require the IP address of the site.
(Which hopefully is Fixed IP or Static.) If not, it will open another can of worms for you...

    More from the programmers guide:

    Remote Connection
If you wish to transfer the Colour C-Touch project to a unit on a remote site via the Internet, the
    following properties will be needed:
? URL/IP Address: this is the URL (eg. myhouse.com) or IP Address (eg. 1.2.3.4) of the Colour C-Touch (or the router). Do not include "http://" in the URL.
? Port: this is the port number. The default value is 8336, but may be different if port mapping is used
? Password: this is the password for connecting to the Colour C-Touch unit

    Hi Tim,

Perhaps you could consider elaborating on what you tried to do and providing more details of your port forwarding and IP address setup on both the site and at the remote PC. Most of us on the forum don't have mind reading capability (in my case, I know for a fact that it has never worked on Sunday mornings). :)
