Can I convert a CBUS ta to an Integer in Logic?

    Hi all,

    Is there a way to convert a CBUS application or group tag to an integer in logic?

    i.e. iApplicationID := "Kitchen Lights";
    or even
    iApplicationID := CBUSTagToInt("Kitchen Lights");


    I could simplify a lot of my code if this could be done.

    Any chance it could be coming soon? Pretty please :) :) :)

    This is on the list of things to do. I can't say when it will be done though.

    Is it possible to iterate the group addressses on an Application? If so, someone (not me, I'm the ideas man :) ) could code up a temporary "CBUSTagToInt" function?

    I can't think of a way to do this.

    If you think its feasible and you give me some initial direction, I'll code it.

    No, but maybe it should be possible. I will have a think about whether it is a good idea. We try to avoid adding features which could be misused and result in really bad code...
