cat5 cables exposes to the elemets

    is there any issue if i run some cat5 cable and its exposed to the weather.

    building new home...part of the roof is installed, other part will be completed in a fortnight or so, and want to finsish the cabling

    For a short period, during construction, this would be fine. For an extended or permantent period then Gel filled cable is the only option. :)
