One can't help but wonder if Robert or Simon are cleaning out their sheds or something? I have never seen as much stuff on EBay as there is at the moment and it is from several different sellers too!

Anyone have any views as to whether there is cause to be reluctant in purchasing stuff like this?

Looks like "colinc2004" was going to put C-Bus through his house and had a change of heart and decided to sell it all on E-bay. I like the 10 x 5753L PIR's, looks like he went to all the trouble to put leads with connectors on them before he changed his mind. If you were to buy these babies they would be really easy to plug into C-Bus networks. The again you might find they were made up for a commercial job (lift foyers or toilets etc) and the dopey consultants changed their minds in lieu of high tech solutions like lift or smell sensing - respectively ;)

ColinC2004 has C-Bus through out his house and would not sell it in a million yeas. The Product being sold on EBay is not his but is being sold on behalf of a third party as stated at the top of the each and every eBay sales description. As stated the products are Used or ex-stock their source is legitimate, each product is tested prior to sale and thus far all winning bidders have been happy with the purchase. What you see on eBay is about it for C-bus excluding a few more dimmers that have yet to be tested. Then comes the other products (No more Clipsal though that?s it). if anyone has a problem with the sale of these and other automation products on eBay feel free to express them, I may even respond.

I have known Colin for years and doubt you would have an problem buying from him. Ofcourse this is a personal statement so don't go thinking this is some offcial Clipsal endorsement. (Like Clipsal would let me speak for them) :D

My comments, like most of my comments on this forum were "tongue in cheek" The ability to make someone else laugh is a skill I have been trying to develop for many years (tell me when I get there :p ). As the Joker in Batman said "haven't you every heard of the healing power of laughter ?" On C-Bus on Ebay - I have been around a little while and pretty sure I know the score on this. If the gear is good and tested sounds good to me. Might mean someone who might not have otherwise gone down the C-Bus path may choose to, due to reduced costs, not a bad thing. The more the merrier. Reduced costs comes with no warranty though..
Anyway didn't get on the computer at this silly hour out of boredom, came to check the weather radar before going to golf, doesn't look good :(
Hi PSC (The smarty is off 6 (handicap) at a nice course)

PSC you are spot on on both counts.

I hit 11 over off the stick, which for me, on a course I don't know, is a really good score. The only bad shots were when I left my weight back. Now almost every practice swing I think of PSC. Well not actually about PSC but what he told me ;) Fair deal, I have helped PSC with some tricky programming problems and he has helped me with my sh%t golf swing. One day I will share the Lindeman Island story :)
