hello, my Cbus program got burnt out.
The track lights randomly switch on and off. Got an electrician to come and fix and re programme switches. It costs 650AUD.
But then one month later, the lights are blinking in the lounge room and 1 bedroom and the same electrician came and said the light dimmer is found to have problem. He said the dimmer can't be separately removed and can't be reprogrammed to disable the dimmer. And replacing the dimmer cost $2600.

Can anyone help to see whether the above diagnose make sense and any recommendation of a good CBus specialist in the Sydney city area?

    Hi ASze
C-Bus dimmers are very fussy with LED's (they weren't really designed to go together), the issues you are briefly describing sounds like incompatible LED bulb's. I've had most success with Osram dimmable ones.
Sometimes it is possible to install a load compensator on the channels to get them playing nicely.
There are a lot of variables unable to diagnose over a chat, you really need an experienced C-Bus electrician to go to site.
