Cbus States..

    Can someone please explain the CBUS States.

    I.e State1 and State2

    What being in that state mean ??

    Can you please provide a bit more information. Where are you seeing these states? How are you seeing this info?

    I think Charlie is referring to the states shown in the Network Status Report. I'd like to know the answer to this one too. (I must admit I haven't looked for this in the manual yet.)

    If you are referring the the states reported in the Network Status report, then the states are actually a random number generated by each unit to detect unit address conflicts. There is no meaning to whether a unit is state 1 or state 2, so you can ignore it.
