Cbus touchscreen course

Hey,

Had some trouble last week with some questions in part one of the exam in Australia. Would any one have some notes to help me with the questions, or even some advice I could refer to. The teacher we had gave very little away... I smashed through the workbook but unfortunately didn't get through part one.

Hi Michael,

I think the two things to prepare for the exam are:

1. It's multiple choice. Always answer the questions with the answer that is the Clipsal 'specific' answer ie ignoring all other systems, third party ideas or information outside of the actual course content (ie don't over-think the answers).

2. Spend most of your time reading and knowing where to get the answers from the online help files in PICED. (From memory its open book) You should have been given access to both the workbook but also the PICED online help to answer the exam questions so it is about being able to remember where the references are to various concepts, not necessarily memorising them yourself.

Next, as you did the course you should now have a touch screen. Programme it up using many of the templates in PICED and see how they work. Work out how the advanced features in the template menus do what they do by playing with it.
