Hi All,I have a fairly large c-bus installation and now after 3yrs one of the Dimmers has gone faulty.
How can I replace this without having to reprogramme the switches and touch screen. Or is there a tutorial on this somewhere. All help will be appreciated.

You do not need to change any of the programming in any of the other devices on your network.

Toolkit has a really cool feature called 'Reinstall'. This is by far the easiest way to transfer the programming from your old unit to the new one.

Firstly, make sure your Toolkit database contains an accurate record of the programming of your dimmer. Do a Network -> Database transfer of the programming of that unit, if you can still scan it on the network.

Then, remove your old unit from your network and replace it with the new one.

Scan the network. The new unit should be showing at unit address 255. If your new unit is at any other unit address than 255, change it so that it is at 255.

Select the old unit in the database and select the 'Reinstall' button in Toolkit. This will automatically change the unit address to match the address of the old dimmer, transfer all the programming from the database to the unit on the network and finally update the serial number record in the database to reflect the serial number of the new unit.
