    Hey Guys

    Another random one, I have a bunch of 30M Pushbutton switches that I need to try and make the indicators do the following:

    Disabled: Orange
    Group On: Dual Colours (Orange and Blue)
    Group Off: Blue

    Or

    Disabled: Orange
    Group On: Blue 100%
    Group Off: Blue 20%

    Does anyone have any ideas on how I would be able to achieve this?

    Thanks!

    You can achieve something close however you will need a device on your C-Bus network that has the Logic Engine. It is not possible with the default behaviour of the units.

    In your first proposal you seem to be trying to create a pink/purple colour by wanting both the orange and blue indicators to be illuminated when the group is on. This is not possible. Only 1 colour of indicator can be lit at any given time.

    For your second proposal, it is only possible if you are only using a single 30M with no slaves, as it is not possible to have different brightness levels for the slave buttons connected to the master. All buttons must have the same brightness level (excluding on/off control).

    Assuming you're not using slave buttons on the 30M, for your second proposal you will need to assign the indicicator in the 30M switch to an additional block (on the blocks tab). On the Indicators tab set the indicator style to Status (Dual) and the On colour to blue. Lastly, assign the indicator brightness to another independent group.

    In the Logic Engine, whenever the 30M is disabled, turn off the indicator group. This will set all the indicators to orange. Set the indicator brightness group to whatever brightness level you want under this condition. When the 30M is re-enabled, turn on all the indicator groups. This will set the indicators to blue.

    When the lighting group of interest is turned on, set the indicator brightness group to 100%. When the lighting group is off, set the indicator brightness group to 20%.

    Ok That is great thanks. Unfortunately some of them do have slaves but we may just have to change them out for a master 30M.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Any tricky way of using colour to indicate alternate function?

    Eg. Fan control:

    Off=Off
    Blue=Low
    Orange=High
