    Hey,
Does anyone know if there is away around the error that says:
"There are circular Scene Triggers. There scenes will trigger each other. Please chang a Scene Trigger or the scene item which is doing the triggering."
when you are trying to get scenes configured?

This is a really big problem with what i am trying to get my touch screen to do.

I am get the following done:
    - when the user triggers the scene one load will turn off (instantaniously)
    - one second wait
    - turn off the second load
    - wait one second
    - Continuously for 7 separate loads.

Proposed way to be carried out:
    - One scene is triggered which turns off Load 1 and triggers a phantom scene (that works off a pulse off new PICED software for the one second delay)
    - The next scene is triddered by the first one through that group address which will turn off the second load and start another phantom group address for one second delay
    - and so on for all the other loads

I have created all the scenes and had it parcially working but i changed the timing and a few other things and i am getting this error. I know for sure that the cbus will not keep looping forever but the software is stopping me from finishing this.

    Please help,
    George

If the software says it will loop forever (that is what this error means), then it will loop forever.

It means you have a scene triggering a scene, and so on... and eventually triggering the first (or one of the other) scenes again.

This is not a good practice.... check your scene setups very carefully to make sure that you do not have this occurring. It sounds like if you had it working and then made some changes you may have accidentally changed one of the trigger groups or scene components.

Thanks, i found the problem after a few hours of deleting the scenes and starting again. But it all works now! and it looks awsome ;)

I know what doing this with scenes is not good practice but i dont know any other way that I can get the loads to turn off like i want them to. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this then please tell me because this is a very long process especially if you want to make small changes (e.g. change the delay period from 1 second to 2 seconds)

The only other way of doing this is to use logic.
