I am sorry to reopen this case, and there is lot of cases about it.

    the wiser is working.
    cni is working too.

but the wiser cant pass to c-bus network through.

192.168.2.2 show that network voltage : Unknown.

when i go to CNI using toolkit it find the CNI and shows 34.2V.

so, i think it is ip problem. why?

because, the wiser's IP is 192.168.2.1 with no subnet mask. empty field
the CIN' IP is 192.168.2.2 and subnet masl is 255.255.255.0

when i change the subnet mask of wiser to 255.255.255.0 i click save. then it back to empty field after refreshing the page.

    so, any help ?

If you can access both the wiser gui and the cni gui but wiser gui cant control the cbus items then chances are that your piced project has not been setup with the right cni ip address..

Don't worry about your IP, if 192.168.2.2 gets the CNI page then the Network of the CNI is working. If the orange light is on then the cbus side is working. I think from memory from some other posts it's the bit in the middle that dies, the CNI goes from ethernet to serial to cbus.

Do you have an orange light on the cbus led of the cni ? if not then you have no physical connection to cbus. If you do and your network voltage is unknown and your cbus status is unknown you have potentially got a bricked CNI.

If you reset the CNI ( located underneath ) and get this !!! ( which is what mine shows now ) AND you have an orange light then ring cis support engineer. Chances are you have a bricked unit.

    Description:

    CNI Mk 2
    Project: UNKNOWN
    Part name: NEWUNIT
C-Bus status: Not responding since 10 minutes ago
    Network voltage: Unknown
    IP Address: 192.168.2.2
    Netmask: 255.255.0.0
    Gateway: 192.168.2.1
    TCP Port: 10001
    Unit Address: 255
    MAC Address: 00:17:DD:01:03:5E
    Serial Number: 010485754095
    C-Bus Firmware: 0.0.00
    Ethernet Firmware: 1.0.0
    Hardware variant: Inline

P.S. I wouldn't buy a replacement inline CNI. After reading about all the failures it's not worth the risk. Maybe get the DIN rail one, or wait and hopefully they lift their game on wiser2.

Give CIS tech support a ring, they'll put you on to an engineer and can advise you what to do google their number.
