Would there be any reason why a colour C-Touch would be losing conectivity on a LAN?

Unable to ping the Colour C-Touch using command prompt commands from another PC.

However I can still log into the Colour C-Touch using the PICED software and also searching for it when using CTCclient software from another PC.

UDP packets? as oppsoed to TCP packets? Maybe?

There is a chance that we have firewalled off the CTC from responding to pings, would have to check with someone who is not here to confirm that.

The CTC does not respond to ping. The CTC is set up to ignore ICMP packets (those which are used by ping). Different again to TCP or UDP.

I expect this was done to prevent the possibility of ping flood DoS attacks.
