 Cant hear the wave file more than a few metres from the touch screen with its volume on full.

Is there a work around out there? And/Or
What about with the multi-room audio?

Is there an easy way to know what source your multi-room audio is currently on. This could allow you to switch to a source playing a door bell sound then switch back to its original source and volume etc.

    Thanks.

try feeding the Output of the CTC into the High Priority input of the Matrix Switcher. Then no matter what source your zones are on they will play the door bell.

My client has a Samsung phone system with 6 extensions and 3 phone lines. All / any of them ring with each of the 2 door stations (door bells) and have one unique tone for each door.

The phone engages the door conversation and the flash button opens the door. The door open function is via C-bus itself which takes the contact switch from the phone system. Similarly the alarm system interacts with the C-Bus in the same way. When there is a fire code issued by the alarm, the garage door opens to prevent the fire brigade smashing down the front door. Once again all through C-bus.

To see the person at the door you can gang any four cameras from the CCTV into a quad video image for about $250 and show it on any TV or computer on a network if you inject the relevant signals at the correct locations in the wiring scheme.

This is from any station in the house including LAN based PC's with web browser next to a phone.

This may also work in this situation ?
