Colour Touch Screen PC Interface

    Can you confirm that the Colour Touch Screen can NOT be used as a PC Interface ??.
    And if so will this be always the cae or a firmware upgrade next week ?.

    Correct, the colour touch screen cannot be used as a PC interface or CNI. The request for this functionality has been logged already (and it is a good idea), but it is unlikley to make it into the product any time soon.

    then and now....

    It's been 3 years now, can we use the 5080CTC to access the c-bus network via ethernet for remote programming? I'd like to try it but I'm not buying a panel for the sake of the excersise!

    The Colour C-Touch does not allow its PC interface to be used for programming a network. If you are wanting to program a site remotely (via the Internet), you can use a CNI, or wait until next year when a new product will be released making it very easy to do.
