I am trying to control some lamps (simple on / off not dimmable) that sometimes get moved around.
I have wired cbus throughout the lights in the house, but the lamps get plugged in to the power sockets (such as christmas lights and table lamps).
I cannot put sockets in every room in the house back to the cbus relays and cbus used to do the wireless plug in adaptors, but here in the UK you cannot get them anymore (not sure why, they seemed like a great option). I used to have X10 which would do this, so i bought the infrared output unit to try and send commands to X10 using this, but it is a little hit and miss.
Is there something that is more recommended or even something to link to zwave or another 3rd party that does wireless plugin modules?
    Thanks
