I am about to install a new cooker hood in my kitchen. This has a wireless remote control (I assume similar to those used for garage door openers NOT a PC wi-fi or Clipsal wireless component). I want CBUS to 'press' one of those buttons when I switch the lights off.

Does anyone have any idea how I could do this? I know that Clipsal doesn't make a part. I guess I could take the remote to pieces and use a relay or 4 ....

    Thanks

    Just take the remote apart.

If you dont want to use cbus relays you could probably use a bus coupler led outputs to drive a low current relay. Not sure how you would go with a warranty claim.

instead of ruining the remote, why not just wire from c-bus relay back into the rangehood?
