After spending the last 6hrs wading through past discussions on this forum, I still can't seem to find a definative answer to this seemingly complex application?

I'm about to embark on a CBus project and am conflicted as to how best approach applications such as this. I was initially inclined to go with the 4 x C/O relay unit but am begining to think that the new RBCP unit maybe the best way to go. I'm not afraid a little PACA programming either way.

Could someone please point me in the right direction or refer me to the relevant thread.

    Many thanks, in advance..

The C-Bus Shutter Relay (L5501RBCP) is the way to go. It has many advantages over using regular relay channels:
    - No logic programming is required for one key operation, or for fail-safe time-outs
    - Hardware interlocking is in-built
    - It is powered from C-Bus, so no mains connection is required
    - It has open/close buttons on the unit for use during commissioning

All that, plus cheaper too (2 shutter relays RRP cheaper than one 4ch C/O relay needed to control 2 shutters) :D

Many thanks guys, for the fast response.

There will be rooms that may have up to 4 motorised appliances such as blinds and curtains. I'd like to put one button control for each of these individually on the first page of the local DLT. I also like to have one global button on the 2nd page that would drive all of them in a similar manner. How would this be possible?

    Thanks again...

The way to do this would be to use Scenes stored in the C-Touch and remotely trigger them from the DLT. I'd suggest having 2 buttons for controlling multiple units, one for Open and one for Close, but they can still control all the Shutter Relays as a group.
