Since I am not the first one who is trying to use C-Bus for outdoor installations, I would be grateful for some ideas about the handiest way to control a small outdoor installation. :p
I think that the RF remote control would be the best way but I have no experience on the C-bus Wireless range. The outdoor system will be controlled also by the wired network of the house.<O:p
Should I put the gateway on a shielded box nearby?<O:p

    Outdoor control

I too have pondered the outdoor control aspect. I hope to put a screen on the wall with some outdoor speakers and needless to say, a remote won't last 10 minutes outside with kids, pool and pets.

I considered using a weatherproof housing over a 6 gang or even dlt but there is nothing like control in the palm of your hand!

I read somewere about a waterproof/outdoor remote but am sure it was i/r and not compatible unless used with a plate with I/R sensor on it behind a weatherproof housing.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?
