    Hello Fred
This link shows how to set up a VPN server on a Windows7 machine.
    http://www.howtonetworking.com/VPN/win7vpn1.htm
You will have to allow the VPN through your router also.
Set up the VPN on the iPhone.
Once connected to the VPN your iPhone will have an ip address on your local network so you can set Touchsoft to connect to the CNI local address.

    OK
I will leave the topic to someone who might know the setup you need.
How is your Touchsoft app going?
Is the status always correct when you connect and does it ever lock the CNI?
Vista should work much the same if you are inclined to try it.

    Thanks DarlMc

No the status is never correct on startup... annoying!
And no... The CNI does not lock up at all... thankfully.
I will try your link with vista????
    Cheers
