ctouch 5000ct MK1 B/W

    i cannot connect to the ct5000.
    using the serial cable and it just clicks when o try to connect.
    i am using serial - RJ45 cable, using pinouts from this site.

    the unit has no program in it, (has the "program before use" message) and i know no history of the unit.

    i have tried a few different versions of piced and c-gate, but still can't connect.


    My question is this - does the clicking mean i own a paper weight.

    What did you specify in the PICED project ?

    You may also have to look into a firmware update.
