Had a colour touch that has been working for some time and today loaded all the latest versions of firmware and software, but when finished could not turn any loads on/off.
Found most pages have "anyone" access (check the help file "anyone" spelt "anonymous") but when i look at the access features for "anyone" after pressing the "default" button all fields = "none".
So to fix had to change "anyone"s access features, do i have now to goto each Piced file and change the features.

Loading an old project into the latest PICED should not change the access control. If you can make this happen on another project, send the project in to tech support with details of how you made it happen.

Thing the problem came from using the "default" key for "access features"
after pressing the "default" button all fields = "none".
So when timeout and went to home page "anyone" could not do anything.

Which would be a lot better worded as...

    "no-one" could do nothing ! :D

    ******************

I just tried it in PICED (assuming Colour Ctouch)...

If you start a New Project, you get only 1 access level. If you then choose "Default" on the Access Levels tab, it creates the 5 user levels, then assigns "None" to everything for user "Anyone".

So, I assume that the Default button on Access Features page is doing a similar thing.

I think your error was to hit that "Default" Button... which effectively deletes all your previously stored Access Control settings, and reverts it to the default (which won't allow anyone to do nothing).

It's pretty odd behaviour - note how Default doesn't even allow Anyone to Control C-Bus. I also usually set up most pages with User "Anyone".. and only have passwords for config stuff.

Or maybe I am confusing myself trying to explain what I mean :)

This has been changed for the next version. In V3.5, when you press the "default" button, the "anyone" level will have access to C-Bus, but nothing else.
