    Hi,

I am using CBus Dali Gateway for Dimming the Flourscent Light.

As Dali has a capability to show the status of each light and Ballast connected to it.

Is it possible to display the Dali Ballast and Light status on the third party BMS System thru RS 232

    Can anybody suggest on this

    regards
    Suresh

By Show Status - do you mean:

    - Show if it is on or off?

    - Show if it has a fault condition?

The cbus DALI gateway will allow the on / off state to be found by mapping cbus groups to DALI ballasts or DALI groups (of ballasts). You then use the cbus group to find the DALI state, and the DALi gateway will automatically check the ballasts to make sure that they are where the cbus group says they should be. So your BMS can just use the cbus group.

If you want fault reporting, then the cbus DALI gateway will take ballast fault reports and convert them into a cbus error report. At this time, Schedule Plus will accept and display these error reports. Other BMS systems probably can't do this (yet) - they need interface software to be written.
